What has the modern man become today, what does he believe in and what not? What is faith and what is it to be a believer? Questions about God and the existence of God. These are the universal themes that are treated Dostoevsky's novel “The Karamazov’ Brothers "– perhaps one of the greatest works in literature and a great challenge for everyone in theater. The director of this impressive performance Deyan Proikovski believes the modern man lives in some way with the problems and questions of Dostoevsky’s heroes. The Karamazov’ brothers themselves are like Diogenes, who left in broad daylight with a candle in his hand to look for the man. But in order to get to the real answers of the questions that concern him, one should not pass physical distance, but embark on a soul search. There he will find them. In fact, this performance is a turbulent and exciting journey into the human souls and hearts. Did you know that the difference between the perfect bell and the rest is a tone, which only the great masters can hear. That's the difference between an Angel and the devil. The only thing that matters is that you have good hearing. And this tone is what “The Karamazov Brothers” is all about.
