To see how the eternal seducer Dom Juan enters into an endless duel with love, with doubt, with the world and even with himself; to feel the everlasting thirst for love, but also the inability to get enough and enjoy love; to always ask the latest questions – How to live? And what do we believe in? You should watch this spectacle. Because according to the director of “Dom Juan” of Molière is the most interesting, deep, most philosophical and most sincere. This play for me is not interesting because of the lover, the famous seducer, every woman’s dream, the adventurer, says Alexander Morfov. This is just a prelude, only decoration, the glaze of a much more interesting and profound content. It's about a man who is the epitome of freedom. A person who has no duties– be it family, religious or social. In XXI century, a painful dimension is added to the picture. But Don Giovanni is interesting to me because of the fact that he is the man who possesses ultimate freedom. But the question I ask myself is– When a man is free, what he does with his freedom? When he realizes his total freedom, he understands that he has no one to share it with. Freedom as well as fame are things that are very dependent on the society you are in.
