The fruit of the natural pursuit of love and freedom, for a understanding of the absurd daily lives, at a war times, when the humane is torn out of people. The exceptional psychological insight and depth of Emilian Stanev “Peach Thief" is at the heart of the spectacle. Characters of the tragic and the saturated with many emotions love story– the Colonel, his wife Elisaveta, the Prisoner, the Teacher, the Ordinaire and the Mother- open the world of love to us, who, despite being mysterious, is also the only thing that could give suffering a purpose and to elevate the human spirit.
