Argan is the central character in this comedy-ballet. Around this charming and whimsical hypochondriac, suffering from all possible diseases, revolves the story of misunderstandings, the hidden love and fun tricks of his entire household, and also with his treating physicians. Written 350 years ago, this magnificent comedy by the great comedian and actor Jean-Baptiste Molière, is also his last role. Just a few hours after he took down the costume of the imaginary ill Argan, Molière leaves this world, but his play remains to live and becomes not only a comedy classic, but also a desired challenge for many actors. Because Molière is comedy its highest form, theatre in its purest form, a challenge for the professional actor. Moliere wittily stated:"Almost all die of their medications, not their diseases, "The biggest foolishness is trying to make the world a better place” and “The envious die but envy itself –never ".
