The performance was created by the text, which was strictly forbidden by the Soviet authorities - a play by Nikolay Erdman "The Suicide", written in 1928, but performed for the first time in 1987. "The Suicide" is proclaimed to be a mirroring image of the twentieth century and compared Nikolay Erdman with classics of satire Nicholay Gogol and Soukhovo-Kobilin. The title "Life is Wonderful" leads to reflections and hopes for the victory of daily miracles, imagination and great truths over the crushing reality. After a midnight scandal, filled with very funny and reaching the boundaries of the cheerful absurdity, scenes, the main character Podsekalnikov decides to commit suicide.  The reasons are unemployment, unfulfilled dreams, boredom of everyday life and of others... But when he decided to leave this world, because he could no longer find meaning in life, a mob of people appeared to convince him to make sense of his impending death. What follows is an avalanche of fun, insanity and a  completely unexpected ending.

Kamen Donev won the IKAR' 2013 and ASKEER' 2012 awards for the leading male role of Semyon Podsekalnikov.

Svetlana Yancheva won the Society of Independent Theatre Critics’s Award for the role of Serafima Ilinichna.
