Hristo Cheshmedzhiev

Graduated in National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Krastio Sarafov" in 1992 in the class of Prof. Stefan Danailov. In the same year he entered the troupe of "Ivan Vazov" National Theater. In the 1998/1999 season he plays the role of Paralityk in the international theater project entitled "Shaving Wind" realized by the French director Gui Shelli with premieres in Paris, Tokyo, New York, Sofia and Johannesburg. Among his most important famous roles in the National Theater are: Camille Demoulin in "Memories of a Revolution" by Georg Büchner and Heiner Müller, Tirezius in „Antigone“ by Sophocles, Damis in „Tartuffe“ by Moliere, Frederick Ellis in "The Autumn Garden" by Lillian Hellman, Noah in "The Rainmaker" by Nathaniel Richard Nash, Don Cesar de Basan in "Ruy Blas" by Viktor Hugo, Alyoshka in "The Lower Depts" by Maxim Gorki, Freddie in “Pygmalion” by Bernard Shaw, Stefan Nos in “Larry Thompson” by Dushan Kovacevic, Angus in “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare, Officer in “Macbed” by Eugene Ionesco, Frank Harcourt in “The Country Wife” by William Wycherley, The French King in Shakespeare‘s “King Lear”, Paul Dan in "All that jazz!", Ricardo Heredia in "Damned Souls" by Dimitar Dimov, Virtuoso in "The Bus" by Stanislav Stratiev, Teodosi Mironov in “The Culprit” by Dimitar Dimov, Don Basillio in "The Follies of a Day" by Pierre de Beaumarchais.
