Milena Atanasova

Graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatre Arts "Kr. Sarafov" in 1969. She made her first steps on a professional stage in the Drama theatre in Sliven. Among her roles are Olivia in "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare, Pilar in "A Holiday in Arko Iris" by Dimitar Dimov, Nadia in "Enemies" by Maxim Gorky, and Luisa in "Intrigue and Love" by Friedrich Schiller.

In 1971 she joined the troupe of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, where among her most important roles are: Zornitsa in "Kaloyan" by Kamen Zidarov, Amelia in "The House of Bernarda Alba" by Federico Garcia Lorca, Katya in the "Humiliated and Insulted" by F. Dostoevsky, Olga in "When Thunder strikes, the Echo fades" by Peyo Yavorov, Evgenia in "Millionaire" by Yordan Yovkov, Raynichka in "Duel" and Kaka Ginka in "Under the Yoke" by Ivan Vazov, Clotilde in "Before Sunset" by Gerhard Hauptmann, Proserpine in "Candida" by Bernard Shaw, Susanna in "Largo Desolato" by Vaclav Havel, Miss Fernley in "Black Comedy" by Peter Shaffer, Hecata in "Macbeth" by William Shakespeare, Selyamzuzkata in "Uncles" by Ivan Vazov, Carie in "The Autumn Garden" by Lillian Hellman, Leda in "Wolf Church" by Petar Anastasov, Natalia Abadashova in "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" by Brecht, the Woman in "The Runaway Plane" by Kamen Donev, Savka in "Larry Thompson" by Dusan Kovachevich, Mariel in "Chokomania" by Philip Blasband, Lady Markby in "An Ideal Husband" by Oscar Wilde, Pheokla Ivanovna in "Marriage" by Gogol, Cecily in "How important it is to be serious/years later)".
