The Nobel Laureate in Literature (1934), presented to him as "the daring and glamorous awakening that evokes the theater and the stage", Luigi Pirandello writes his play "The Way You Want Me" in search and development of the theme of real truth and the seeming Truth. The main character is the Unknown woman – she built her life from scratch in the home of Salter and the daughter Mop, who know almost nothing about her past. One evening, a strange man knocks on the door, who claims to be her childhood friend, and offers her to return to her previous life – with a husband, family and inheritance. Before the unknown reveals the possibility of a new identity and the challenge to re-create in the other home. The spectacle of Stefan Moskov is about the masks, which everyone in search of themselves chooses to wear or not. For masks that, once put on, give us an authentic essence. The performance raises the question – is there such an authentic essence behind the mask, or we are entirely subject to where we are expected, accepted and loved. With multimedia elements, change of view-points and perspective, the director brings the theatrical experience the closest it’s ever been to a movie. And the challenge for the audience is that it is positioned on the scene itself and observes everything from the front row.
