Is it possible to preserve love after many years of marital life, after hundreds of snacks, lunches, and dinners together? Two people who know each other and at the same time know nothing. Where is the love? Where are the real feelings? Where and when are we real and when are we just imaginary heroes and masks? This is not the absurdity of the plot of the play, but the absurdity of life itself. As only Harold Pinter can show it.
