Graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Kr. Sarafov" (NATFA) in 1994 in the class of Prof. Nadezhda Seykova and Iliya Dobrev. In the period 1994-1995, he played on the stage of the N. O. Masalitinov Plovdiv Drama Theatre, and in 1995 he became part of the troupe of the Little City Theatre "Off The Channel". Since 2005, he has been the chairman of the Union of Bulgarian Actors.
In the Ivan Vazov National Theatre he played one of his most emblematic roles: Petraki the deaf and mute in "Sumatoha" by Yordan Radichkov, dir. Ivan Dobchev, Krosnoto in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by W.Shakespeare, directed by Alexander Morfov, Stancho Deribeya in "Exiles" by Ivan Vazov, directed by Alexander Morfov, Raicho in the one-man play "A Weeping Angel" by Stefan Tsanev, directed Stoyan Radev and Stefan Stambolov in "The Spirit of the Poet" by Stefan Tsanev, directed by Margarita Mladenova.
Among the public, he is also known for his roles in cinema and television.
He is the winner of numerous awards: 1992 - First prize at the "Parade of Advertisements in Bulgaria" contest for the Ford Moto-Pfoe commercial, 1992 - Nomination for the "Ku-ku Smile of the Year" contest, 2000 - Award for a young actor "Ivan Dimov", 2000 - Nomination for ASKEER Award for the leading male role: The Pup in "The Pup from the Pushed Island" by Martin McDonagh, directed by Plamen Markov, 2001 - The Icarus Award for the actor who played the most leading roles in the season 2000/2001, 2005 - the Icarus Award 2005 for the leading male role: Golemanov in "Golemanov" by St. L. Kostov, 2006 - Award for a male role: Agaton Agassich in "The Bereaved Family" by Branislav Nusic, directed by Bina Haralampieva at the International Festival "Days of Zoran Radmilovic" in the city of Zajcar, Serbia, 2018 - Order of "St. Cyril and Methodius", 2021 - the ASKEER Award for the one-man play "A Weeping Angel" based on the text by Stefan Tsanev, Ivan Vazov National Theater.
