Lyubomir Petkashev

Graduated in the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Kr. Sarafov" in 1982. He made his first steps on professional stage at the Drama Theatre-Vratsa. Among his roles there are: Jim O'Conner in "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams, Andi in "Beyond the Horizon" by Eugene O'Neal, the Dragon in "Zmeyova Svatba" by P. Todorov, Gotsa in "Bustle" by Yordan Radichkov, Cheswick in "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey, Doc Porter in "Crimes of the Heart" by Beth Henley. His career continued in the State Travel Theatre with the parts: Colonel in "A Miss on a platter" by Branislav Nushich, Mikhail in "Let's Play the Steelhead" by Yana Dobreva, Grandpa Reynolds in "Comfort in three parts" by Kamen Donev, Sergeant Slaterin in "Funny Money" by Ray Cooney, Passer in "Cylinder" by Eduardo De Filippo. He entered the troupe of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre in 2009 and his roles are: Trucle in "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey, Porter and Doctor in "As you Desire Me" by Luigi Pirandello and the Man in "Life is Wonderful" by Nikolay Erdman.
