Graduated from The National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts "Kr. Sarafov" (NATFA) in 2001 in the class of Prof. Krikor Azarian. She has performed in Blagoevgrad Drama Theatre, Plovdiv Drama Theatre, The Bulgarian Army Theatre, and The Aleko Konstantinov State Satirical Theatre. Some of her most important roles are: Fem in "BiFem" by Lyudmila Petrushevskaya, Vera in "Vernissage" by Vaclav Havel, Dafinka in "Mother-in-law" by Anton Strashimirov, the Bride in "Blood Wedding" by Federico Garcia Lorca. Since 2012 she has been in the troupe of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, where her roles include: Camille in "No Trifling with Love" by Alfred de Musset, Valeria in "Duck Hunting" by Alexander Vampilov, Marya Antonovna in "The Government Inspector " by Nikolai Gogol, Mistress Quickly in "The Merry Wives of Windsor" by William Shakespeare, Mrs. Geesche Gottfried in "Bremen Freedom" by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Gigi in the "The Therapist" by Elena Alexieva, Claire in "The Maids" by Jean Genet, Annette Reille in "The God of Carnage" by Yasmina Reza, Olga in "Useless Men" by Maxim Gorky, Sezonia in "Caligula" by Albert Camus, Grushenka in "The Brothers Karamazov" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
She has played in many film and television productions. For the roles of Dafinka in "Mother-in-Law" and Fem in "BiFem", Alexandra has been awarded an ASKEER for a "Rising Star". For the role of Geesche Gottfried, she received a Leading Female ASKEER Аward 2014. She has an ASKEER Award 2022 nomination for Supporting Female Role for the role of Muncho in the play "Vazov's People".
