The playwright Kata Weber endured a heavy trauma in her life. This motivated her to write the play “Pieces of a Woman”. This masterful recreation of personal suffering provokes empathy on topics, towards which modern art rarely takes an interest. The production is an opportunity to rethink modernity’s characteristic problems concerning fear of the Other, coping with pain and love’s various manifestations. The play found a wonderful cast among the actors of the National Theatre.
The production “Pieces of a Woman” is part of the “Theater+” Program.
Theater+ is a platform for long-term and joint creative work, for exchange of ideas and the popularization of contemporary dramaturgy and stage trends.
